Luxury Estate Guru Review: Artra By FEC Skyline
Artra is one of the developments along the Redhill vicinity, which garnered great attention when it was first released due to its added convenience of having retail and residential units in one.
Details of the development
Artra is a new development along 10 Alexander View within District 3. It will have 400 residential units, 1 supermarket and 16 commercial units. For now, it has been disclosed that level 1 will contain retail units while level 2 will have a childcare centre. Facilities will be held at the level 3, 24 and 44 level while the residential units will start from level 5 onwards. Its expected completion is dated in 2021. Its layouts consist of 2 to 5 bedroom units, which can be considered if you are planning to start a family in the near future.
Artra is developed by FEC Skyline Pte Ltd, which is a joint venture between Far East Consortium (FEC) and New World Development Company Limited. FEC has built a diverse portfolio of quality residences in Australia, Mainland China, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and the United Kingdom. From Melbourne to Shanghai, the Group has demonstrated its ability to develop, build and launch multiple large scale, mixed-use developments alongside residential properties across the region. Its strategic “build-to-sell” approach has been formulated to capitalise on local demand for housing while also rapidly realising its investment in a fast-paced property market.
Where can you find Artra?
If you wish to reach the nearest MRT station, you can reach Redhill MRT station within a short 3 minutes walk, which brings you to a series of eateries and lifestyle options around the MRT station like Mr Bean and many more. Redhill MRT station is connected to the East-West MRT Line.
If you wish to reach Central Business District (CBD) from the Artra, you can do so by taking a 5 MRT stop travel. This will take you from Redhill MRT station to Raffles Place MRT station, and the total travelling time will only be 18 minutes long.
Attractive Advantages of the Property
One of the best selling points of Artra would be its proximity to quite a few amenities in the area other than the MRT station. Some of the famous options would include Redhill Food Centre, which is also beside Redhill market and Giant Supermarket, both great for stocking up on daily essentials.
In addition, it is also just a 5 minutes drive to reach Alexandra Central Mall, which has famous food options like Toast Box and Otoko Ramen, or learning centres like MusicArk Instruments and Thrive Learning Centre. Another nearby option also includes IKEA at Alexandra, which you can consider to purchase furniture or a quick fix of swedish cuisine.
There are also other eateries in the area including Alexandra Village Food Centre that offers more local cuisines for you to consider.
One more added advantage would be the proximity to the Orchard area as well, which takes only 9 minutes to reach by car. Doing so will bring you to a number of amenities including ION Orchard, Wheelock Place, Tanglin Mall, Takashimaya and many more in the area.
If you have family members that are still undergoing education, there are also a number of schools within the area that you can consider. They include:
- Gan Eng Seng School
- Crescent Girls’ School
- Bukit Merah Secondary School
- Alexandra Secondary School
- Queenstown Secondary School
- Amity Global Institute, Singapore
Aside from the amenities, a strong selling point about Artra Property would be the added convenience from its facilities within the development. Within Artra would be a festive plaza for social gatherings, and also sports facilities like the leisure tennis court, leisure pool, lap pool and splash pool. If you have a family of little ones, there is also a childcare playground and an additional playground for them to mingle around in as well. And as mentioned above, there will also be a shopping mall at the 1st floor including a supermarket, 16 retail units and an in-house Childcare Center.
Final Thoughts on Artra
Artra has a convenient location by being right next to an MRT station, and its location is also very near the Central Business District (CBD) area. While it may not be as close to the central area as other luxurious accommodations are in the Orchard area, its proximity to other amenities and the in-house retail units provides added convenience that more than makes up for it.
Artra – A comparison
Location – 4/5
As I have mentioned above, the fact that you can reach an MRT station within walking distance is definitely a plus point when it comes to location. Its proximity to other lifestyle options like shopping malls, supermarkets and schools are also great, which can also be key points to consider when it comes to location too.
Quality – 4/5
Artra is developed by FEC Skyline Pte Ltd, and since it is a joint venture between Far East Consortium (FEC) and New World Development Company Limited, the quality is definitely quite promising. While they may not have that many works within Singapore, their successful projects are widely seen in other countries like China and Australia. Seeing their international portfolio, it is also exciting to see what they are able to provide in Artra.
